This is a used Allen-Bradley 1746-OW16 output module for the SLC 500 modular platform. It provides 16 relay contact outputs for switching AC or DC loads such as solenoids, contactor coils, pilot lights and other field devices. Because the outputs are relay contacts, they work with both AC and DC loads and don’t care about sourcing or sinking polarity. It suits replacing an existing module or keeping a spare for a machine you want to keep running.
