Production stopped
Your S7 is in fault and nobody on site can clear it
The CPU is in STOP. The fault buffer shows an error code nobody recognises. Restarting clears the fault but it comes back within the hour. Your maintenance team has exhausted everything they know and production is waiting.

A PROFINET device keeps dropping off the network

What STEP 7 to TIA Portal migration actually involves and why it matters
TIA Portal includes a migration wizard. It generates a starting point but not a finished program. Facilities that have gone through “automatic” migrations and found themselves with a system that compiles but doesn’t behave correctly have learned this the hard way. Celtex manages the translation properly.
