Why Install an EMS?

Energy Managment Systems (“EMS” or “EVEMS”) enable greater control of the electrical capacity in your home when fast charging an Electric vehicle.

Many EV buyers do not realize when purchasing their vehicle that a level 2 charger is likely the largest electrical draw in their home!

Installation of an EMS allows the user to limit the charging speed of their vehicle when electrical draw in their home is at it highest and increase the speed of charging when excess power is available. This is done thanks to an intelligent system that monitors electrical current and automatically sheds the electrical load caused by the EV charger.

This, especially in older homes, can prevent the need for a costly service upgrade.
